Maestro Technologies, Inc. creates new Staffing Division to help clients and IT Professionals Thrive in a Tough Economy

Princeton, NJ, April 1, 2010 – Maestro Technologies, Inc. announced the launch of its Information Technology Staffing Division to match the IT needs of companies impacted by the difficult economy, with experienced IT professionals who have lost their jobs due to the recession.

The new IT Staffing Division is the result of Maestro’s recent acquisition of technology staffing firm Brahma Infotech, Princeton based privately held company.  In the midst of the chaos created by last year’s financial meltdown, and a general increase in IT outsourcing, Maestro’s newly appointed Managing Director Kamal Bathla saw an opportunity: Match experienced IT professionals with clients that understand the benefits of temporary or full-time contract IT projects.

"We aim to fill the void caused by the new realities of IT functions across global companies", explained Mr Bathla.  “We are seeing wave after wave of IT layoffs due to the tough economy. At the same time, IT functions are critical to most companies. We see an opportunity to provide quality IT staffing to our clients at a lower total cost of delivery (TCD), while offering temporary and permanent employment to experienced IT professionals who have lost their jobs. Our goal is to help rebuild the economy, one placement at a time”.

"The combination of a tough economy and off shoring of IT functions means that many of those jobs are gone for good", added Daniele Loffreda, Maestro’s IT Director.
Companies of all sizes are looking for creative solutions to fill their IT needs within the limits of reduced budgets and delivery time constraints. I foresee an increasing reliance on temporary and contract staffing solutions.”

The acquisition of Brahma Infotech will enable Maestro to expand into new markets across the U.S. The Brahma Infotech brand will be retired. The integration of people, processes and programs should be completed by the middle of the second quarter.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Both companies are privately held.
