Full-Service IT Management for a State Capital
In a multi-year IT services engagement, Maestro served the municipal government of a major state capital. During that time, the team provided the city with not only basic management and overall operations of IT systems, but also extended services wherever necessary to bring the capital completely up to national standards.
Primary tasks included providing full time-sensitive tech support, directly receiving work orders and support tickets, handling all troubleshooting and new installations; coordinating service across over 20 locations; procuring and managing all hardware related to the IT infrastructure; maintaining separate private networks for the police department and the court system; standardizing all deployed hardware and systems; coordinating auctions for old hardware to demonstrate efficient fiscal management; and reorganizing and updating all city databases.
Compliance, Modernization & Outcomes
Maestro monitored and managed all IT compliance issues. For example, the team organized and executed the upgrade of the entire network infrastructure, successfully removing federally-prohibited Huawei switches and replacing them with the latest top-of-the-line equipment.
At the end of the engagement, the city was fully upgraded and capable of self-monitoring and self-management, with state-of-the-art hardware and procurement systems.
